As a classically-trained tenor, Stuart has a vast amount of experience in a variety of musical genres from musical theatre and jazz, to lieder and opera.

Stuart began his vocal studies in Edinburgh with Andrew Doig, before moving to London to study with English tenor, John Wakefield at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. He was heavily involved in church music during his time in London, a field which he continues to pursue in Edinburgh.
